Veterinary Careers in North Charleston: Veterinarian holding a dog and cat

Careers

We are a smaller practice with a large clientele. We were finalists in the Best of Charleston 2017 and 2018 thanks to nominations and votes from our amazing clients. One of the most common comments we get from our clients is that we all seem so happy to work here – and we do! We value each other as team members from our veterinarians to our kennel technicians. We get along extremely well and are looking for an outstanding team member who is excited to become a member of our work family.

We are hiring for:

1. Part-Time Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced receptionist to work part-time (average of 20-25 hours per week) at our team-oriented veterinary clinic. Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills, including proper phone etiquette and a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor with clients and coworkers. Experience in a veterinary clinic is ideal, but not required. Applicants should have a flexible schedule during the week (will be scheduled two full weekdays per week) and must be able to work weekends (every other Saturday). We are looking for a special individual that embraces our compassionate care methods, which include gentle, low-stress care for our patients and professional, considerate, and genuinely caring attitudes toward our clients.

Wages will be based on experience. We will be contacting applicants under consideration to ask follow-up questions and schedule interviews.

2. Part-Time Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician

We are seeking an experienced RVT/LVT to work part-time (average of 20-30 hours per week) at our team-oriented veterinary clinic. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited college and have at least one year of experience as a veterinary technician. Experience with Cornerstone is ideal, but not required. Applicants should have a flexible schedule during the week and must be able to work weekends (Saturday mornings and occasional Saturday pm and Sunday am/pm treatments). We are looking for a special individual that is not only proficient in technical skills such as drawing blood, running labs, placing IV catheters, performing dental cleanings, surgical monitoring, etc., but embraces our compassionate care methods, which include gentle, low-stress handling of our patients and professional, considerate, and genuinely caring attitudes toward our clients.

Wages will be based on education and experience. We will be contacting applicants under consideration to ask follow-up questions and schedule interviews.
